2017 “Impressions”
Desciption: The 2017 "Impressions" Shiraz was... handpicked from our "Effen Hill" Vineyard and displays a bright red colour with a vibrant purple hue and aromas of raspberry and cherry. The generous palate is long and complex, beautifully balanced between layers ripe red berry fruits and a refined tannin structure combined with subtle French oak characters. Enjoy with any red meat dish. Although drinking well now, medium term cellaring of 4-6 years will allow further complexity.

Desciption: Awarded 3 Gold Medals; Handpicked... fruit from our single vineyard just outside of Canberra, the cool climate gives us an extended growing season which results in an aromatic, perfumed and spicy style of Shiraz with sweet dark berry and plum nuances. The medium bodied palate has concentrated forest fruits, savoury notes and spice. The palate is seamless, long and supple with velvety tannins and finely integrated cedary oak. The Viognier (2%) provides a silky sheen to the supple texture of the palate.
