Dark crimson. Very vibrant, healthy colour. Extraordinary, attention- grabbing nose that has one first thinking of byres, then some dried curry spice (my old friend cumin?) and then it displays real fresh silkiness on the palate. A truly exceptional wine that has come straight out of the box from a hemisphere away to beguile me. A real original. This has nothing to do with mint or cassis (it’s a blend of Cabernet with Merlot and Petit Verdot) and has the most remarkable texture as well as flavour. Super line and freshness. Bravo!
